Project Overview
Corn is a blockchain network built on Arbitrum Orbit that integrates Bitcoin's value with Ethereum's computational capabilities through its hybrid tokenized Bitcoin (BTCN) gas token. The platform is secured by both Bitcoin (via Babylon) and Ethereum staking, offering seamless interoperability through LayerZero, Thorchain, and Coinbase for easy Bitcoin transfers.
The network introduces the popCORN System, an incentive mechanism inspired by veTokenomics that aligns interests of users, builders, and liquidity providers through yield allocation directed by $CORN stakers. This system, along with features like the Hidden Husk bribe market, Bitcoin Clearing House, and BlueCorn, creates a sustainable ecosystem for Bitcoin in DeFi while ensuring long-term engagement and value creation.
