Project Overview

eETH, developed by ether.fi, is a Liquid Restaking Token that automatically handles ETH staking and restaking in EigenLayer, alongside its wrapped non-rebasing version called weETH. The protocol manages all restaking aspects, requiring users to simply mint eETH to participate, with no limits on native restaking amounts. Users can earn Ethereum staking rewards, loyalty points, and future EigenLayer rewards once active validator services are implemented.

The platform offers multiple token variants including weETHs, weETHk, and eBTC, each with different reward structures and ecosystem integrations. The protocol maintains backward compatibility with their earlier ether.fan NFT system, allowing users to migrate their holdings and loyalty points to eETH, though burn fees apply for ether.fan holdings less than 6 months old. The protocol is working with various DeFi partners like Balancer, Gravita, and Pendle to create utility for these tokens across the ecosystem.
