Project Overview
Solana ID is a platform identity solution that aims to securely bind users' digital footprints to their crypto wallets on the Solana blockchain, effectively turning them into dynamic, reputation-based super accounts. The platform enables users to maintain control over their personal data while allowing applications to identify and target users with tailored offers, discounts, and perks, essentially transforming traditional targeted advertising into personalized rewards.
At its core, Solana ID uses advanced cryptographic techniques, including zero-knowledge proofs, to maintain user privacy while establishing trust. The platform includes three main components: the Solana ID Hub for users to manage their identities, the Portal for businesses to integrate the service, and an Indexer for analyzing user data. The project's native token, $SOLID, serves three main purposes: Data-to-Earn (D2E) where users earn tokens for sharing data, Reputation Staking (RS) where users stake tokens to secure their reputation scores, and Verification Payments (VPs) used by verifiers to pay for verification flows. The platform aims to become Solana's primary identity layer, helping applications distinguish between real users and bots while giving users control over their data monetization.
