Project Overview
Zircuit is an EVM-compatible zero-knowledge rollup built on Ethereum that combines traditional rollup infrastructure with zero-knowledge proofs. A key distinguishing feature is its Sequencer Level Security, which monitors the mempool for malicious transactions before they're included in blocks, providing security at a more fundamental level than typical application-layer protections.
The platform emphasizes cutting-edge performance through efficient circuit decomposition and proof aggregation, enabling faster and cheaper transactions. It maintains full compatibility with Ethereum tools and applications while incorporating research-backed innovations in rollup security, compression, and scaling cryptography, work that has earned multiple grants from the Ethereum Foundation.
